Registered Sex Offenders
Residents can get up-to-date information, including photos, about the registered sex offenders by visiting the bulletin board on the 3rd floor of the Town Office (in front of the Police Department).
It is important that residents familiarize themselves with people who are required to register as sex offenders. You may also call the Police at 345-9021 for this information.

Police Programs
Truancy Program
The Mechanic Falls Police Department works cooperatively with the School to ensure that children who are absent from school without an excuse are followed up with their parents (truancy). This has reduced the numbers of truants dramatically.
