Town Manager

General Assistance

Applications for General Assistance are accepted at the Town Office during regular business hours and a third party administers our General Assistance program.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday 8:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday 8:00am to 4:00pm Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

By state law, applicants age 25 or less are the financial responsibility of their parents (if the parents have the financial means).

Applicants must provide evidence of earnings and expenses. Bring pay stubs and bills paid and bills due, along with the latest bank statements. Bring documentation of any medical conditions.

Applicants who receive General Assistance may be required to complete workfare for the town.
