Mechanic Falls Development Commission
The Commission is made up of appointed volunteer citizens interested in the developmental growth of the community. They meet quarterly on the second Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council chambers to review business loan applications and other development projects.
Individuals who are interested in starting a small business, current business owners who would like to make improvements to their existing business or businesses looking to relocate to Mechanic Falls may be eligible for low interest loans.
The Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments, located on Manley Road in Auburn, is contracted by the MFDC to assist them with the administration of the small business loans.
